Is there any person who reads my blog that does not see that there is a spirit of Antichrist rampant in this world? Is there anyone who feels like everything is going just fine like it always has? Does anyone reading this blog feel like our freedoms are in tack and shall remain that way into the future? Does anyone believe that many of our churches have not been infiltrated and filled with watered down Christianity? Of course, those were more rhetorical than genuine questions, but we should all be asking our selves those questions.
Unless you’ve been living off the grid and have had no contact with the outside world, you will know we are living in troubling times. We have a government, an educational system and a media that blatantly hates the idea of God’s ruler-ship in the lives of people, and is doing everything in their power to quench that. Christian are being marginalized in almost every aspect of life, and are being horribly persecuted in many nations around this world. The cruelty being perpetuated upon Christians in some areas of the world goes beyond what the Romans did.
Many in other countries have chosen to die horrible and painful deaths rather than deny Christ. Because we have lived in such prosperity and safety, I wonder how we would respond in that same situation. How would the masses of Christians in those feel good and prosperity churches react under such persecution? There are so many Christians that are bionically ignorant and have no clue what the bible really says, including what’s coming. They go to church, get pumped up and just love everybody and everything, and I’m all for the love part; but they lack substance in their relationship with Christ. Imagine our children saying they love us, but not doing the things we tell them to do. That’s how many Christians live their lives, they talk about Jesus; but don’t do the things he’s told us to do. They talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk.
I’m not saying these things to offend, but to try and wake people up as the time is growing short. I am a sinner like every other Christian, but I love and read the scriptures most every day. And it is the scriptures that God uses to talk to us, and without those scriptures it’s like going on a trip with no idea how to get to our destination. We must be in the will of God. Read and consider the scripture below.
1 John 2:17-19 (HCSB)
17 And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does God’s will remains forever. 18 Children, it is the last hour. And as you have heard, “Antichrist is coming,” even now many antichrists have come. We know
from this that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us,
they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.
Can you imagine that being said against us? The spirit of Antichrist is all around us and has totally permeated our society.
1 John 2:21-23 (HCSB)
21 I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the
truth. 22 Who is the liar, if not the one who denies that Jesus is the Messiah? This one is the antichrist: the one who
denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son can have the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as
By saying the words God does not exist is not the only way we can deny Christ and the Father. If we don’t walk with him as scripture teaches us to, we also deny him and show in ourselves a spirit of Antichrist. Okay, I think I’ve said everything I need to about how we need to be looking at our walk with God, now lets look a little more at the spirit of Antichrist all around us.
1 John 4:2-4 (HCSB)
2 This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has[a] come in the flesh is from God.
3 But every spirit who does not confess Jesus[b] is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that
he is coming, and he is already in the world now.
4 You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who
is in the world.
That is a very encouraging scripture for those who walk with Christ. Now consider some of the comments that have come out of Washington like, “They need to stop clinging to their guns and bibles”. Or people need to calm down with their religious views as we must have tolerance for all. Of course tolerance for all does not include Christians.
I personally believe that many in Washington are greatly influenced by demonic spirits. I have seen things happen over the past 10 years or so that I would never had believed could happen. Most schools have become brain washing institutions that deny God and worship diversity. I grew up in a time where people were patriots, and we believed in God, family and country. Now those beliefs are ridiculed and scorned. It’s not safe for women to use public bathrooms anymore and if you speak out about it your some kind of “Phobic”.
Personally I’m tired of remaining silent at the wickedness that is rampant in our country. God is very clear when he talks about the Watchman and his responsibility.
Ezekiel 33:2-7 (NKJV)
2 “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of
the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, 3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he
blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword
comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning;
his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and
does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is
taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’
7 “So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.
If you saw a fire coming toward your neighborhood, would you not warn all your neighbors? We are all watchmen in a sense. If we see trouble coming and don’t warn others, are we not in some way responsible for the evil or trouble that comes upon them? That’s why instead of writing more encouraging things like I would like to, I feel a sense of dread coming upon us and I fear for my brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as, our country in general.
I don’t know what’s going to happen between now and when a new president should be sworn in, but my hope is in Christ, and that his will will be done.
